Business Administration

The aim of this apprenticeship is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of Business and Administration.
Every organisation, no matter how large or small, needs to have competent staff who can give the administrative support required to make the business function. Today’s workforce, more than ever before, need to be trained and qualified to ensure that the organisation is operating at its full potential.

"We are a building developer based in Mid Wales, and feel that the training has been beneficial in upgrading employees’ qualifications and work effectiveness at no cost whatsoever to the employee or employer. I would highly recommend this route of learning and development." - Mark Sheppard, Managing Director, Mark Sheppard Ltd.

Comments from learner, Carol Barker:
I was a bit apprehensive before starting my level 2 NVQ in Business and Administration as I did not gain any formal qualifications upon leaving education but once I met my tutor, Jan, she soon put me at my ease and explained the process. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and was so excited when I gained the certificates. Completing the level 2 motivated me into commencing level 3. To be honest I couldn't wait to start!"

The level of support I received from Powys Training and my work colleagues was fantastic and I never felt I was doing this on my own.

Having now almost completed the level 3 it has inspired me to venture further and I shall be commencing an Open University course very soon with the intention of gaining a Foundation Degree in Business Information Technology.”
